REEL Talk - Act of Valor

The movie "Act of Valor" was like watching a 1hour 50minute Navy Seal commercial or watching a real life Call of Duty game intro. I loved the hard hitting action and the "red mist" moments caused by well placed rounds to the enemy's apricot.

But, looking at this movie past the grey matter splatter, we are reminded that war is treacherous and the warriors that fight these battles are a rear breed. These warriors are not those that are fearless but, those who look fear in the eye and accomplish the impossible anyway. If we look at this movie in this light, we would be appreciative to those that have paid the ultimate price and those that continue to protect our nation and way of life. We may have won the battle but, we've yet to win the war against terrorism. Let us not forget that we are still in a fight and those that fight are worthy of our gratitude and respect. I'm honored to be one of the few who have answered this calling but, to my brothers still in the sand and mud,.. Semper Fi,.. to the "The Damn Few"
