Harlistas at the 110th

To say The House of Harley held one of the largest gatherings during the 110th would be a gross understatement. With live bands, a street lined with some of the industry’s most recognized vendors, a bike show that rivaled large scale dedicated shows and the lovely ladies of the International Bikini Team all made for an unforgettable visit. But what truly set the House of Harley apart was hosting Harley-Davidson’s “Casa de Harley”, the orange and black’s recognition and celebration of the Hispanic motorcycle culture.

Riders representing the United States, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, and other Latin destinations converged at the House of Harley for fun and festivities culminating in an exciting group ride for the Ultimate Fighting Championship Throwdown. Leading the ride was one of the largest motorcycle clubs circling the globe, the Latin America Motorcycle Association aka LAMA. With chapters in North and South America, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Argentina to name a few, LAMA truly is an international motorcycle club with the flavor and soul only our Latin brothers and sisters can bring. And take it from us, they know how to have FUN. “We appreciate and respect Harley-Davidson for recognizing our contributions and culture”, says LAMA’s International National Vice President Mike Ramos.

Of course numerous media outlets were out covering HD 110th, but none could quite matched Telemundo’s coverage with their live on-scene interviews from the Latin perspective of HD’s 110th.

At the main grounds of Summer Fest, Moderatto put on an electrifying rock and soul performance infused the emotion and coolness of the legendary great Jimmy Hendrix. Throughout the audience independent riders, members from LAMA, Night Riders, as well as several Harley Owners Group chapters throughout Latin America created a Fiesta style atmosphere while enjoying the spirit and camaraderie that makes them Harlistas.
